Project A Week: Librarian Pencil Skirt

Herringbone is probably my favorite woven patterns, there is just a clean, sophistication that comes along with it. I bought this fabric last year when i was planning the sew along before I found out I was pregnant with Adrian, and sewing a non pregnancy skirt while I was a pregnant wasn't really near the top of my to do list. Now that it's Fall I'm so excited to work on my skirt.
My pattern is from Burdastyle, features an invisible zipper (which I'm excited to finally use my invisible zipper foot, the foot is not invisible if you were wondering.

  1. The fabric is beautiful! I'm excited to see it!

I did my first "project" (I just hemmed a bunch of shirts for my brother) on my new sewing machine yesterday and I'm excited to do more. Fall weather is definitely good for sewing/knitting/crafting!!

Also, I loved your facebook post yesterday about Adelle and football. I showed Nate and he was like, "if you and Amber lived in the same town, you would always be doing crafts together!" So true!!
