I am absolutely in love with how these shoes turned out! I found this tutorial on Pinterest and knew I wanted to try it. I love the look of Toms on kids but pass up the chance to personalize them and make out of a sweet vintage material? I think not! Adelle loves them but sadly they are just about too small for her. I'll be making a larger pair for her this week but the question is what to do with this pair?
If you have a girlie or soon to have a girlie who's feet are smaller than a size 7 leave me a comment and I'll change the name on the back and ship them out. I would hate to waste them.
This means the first person to leave a comment claims them.
Update: The giveaway is closed.
but please feel free to comment.
I used a no slip material on the bottom and these would be perfect for a pair of summer shoes, or to throw on after swimming.

Awesome! Where is the tutorial? My daughter is in a 6 now so they'd be perfect; but I'd love to make some for my other kids (or all 3 if I don't win); too cute!
ReplyDeleteif you click on the word tutorial it'll take you to the link, you have won! email me your information at WillowWould@gmail.com and I'll get them sent out by the end of the week. Thanks Sara
DeleteCool! I found the tutorial (I should have known to click the word); looks like fun. I have some Jessica Jones left over from another project, and I bet it wouldn't be too hard to line them with flannel or something.
ReplyDeleteBut then again, little things sewing always gets me; my fingers get all tangled. :(
Thanks again :)
haha, my fingers are the same way sometimes, but the lady who does the tutorial does a great job showing and explaining the steps, my recommendation is to read all the way through first. I jumped right in not really reading and I messed up the first pair.
Deletecongratulations to the winner :)))...<3 Toms :))) ...following you...check out my blog...http://in2-myworld.blogspot.in/
