Bat Wing Tee

I know what you're thinking, I promised you color and instead I chose a neutral. My reason: I needed a color blocked tee as a basic and seriously this is the most comfortable shirt in the world. I could live in this shirt and be content. I added a nice dark green for the button placket so there's a little color.
The pattern comes from Burdastyle Magazine and made for an easy sew, you can even make it into a dress but I thought that would defeat the purpose of my need for a basic. One thing I would change is I would make the sleeve cuff tighter, I don't wear it down at my wrist but it falls down a lot when I scrunch it up.
Next time I'll go down 2 sizes. I sewed one size smaller than what Burda recommended and I still feel it's a bit too big. I feel like I always have to do a lot of alterations to Burdastyle's patterns or that the sizing is weird but I am a big busted 5'1" woman with a big butt and tiny legs and arms.  "C'est La Vie!"
